About Psych SolutionsDr. Mark Bowers
Dr. Bowers has been providing psychological services to Kansans for the past ten years. Before opening Psych Solutions, he provided psychological services to The Menninger Clinic, Pawnee Community Health Center, Job Corps, Lawrence Public Schools, Denver Children’s Hospital, Washburn University’s Anxiety & Depression Clinics, KU Child & Family Services Clinic, and Psychological Resources.He recently served on the Kansas Psychological Association’s Board of Governors as the Early Career Psychologist Chairperson. His doctoral training program (KU Clinical Child Psychology) received the Outstanding Training Program in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Award by the American Psychological Association. When not working to help individuals answer their questions or address their concerns, he enjoys watching KU sports, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family. Dr. Bowers believes his most important qualification is putting people at ease and reminding them that humor and laughter is not lost. The ultimate goal is to quickly and comfortably bring solutions to difficult questions and needs so that people can continue living comfortably in their everyday lives.
Dr. Bowers completed a Master's degree (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Clinical Child Psychology. He is a Licensed Psychologist in Kansas with training and experience performing psychological, behavioral, forensic, neuropsychological, and educational assessments with individuals throughout the life span.
